This attractive cottage is ideal for couples and families looking for a fantastic base to enjoy the delights of Kendal and The Lake District National Park. New to the market for Summer 2022, Teapot Cottage offers a welcoming environment and is very well equipped with everything you’ll need for a relaxed and memorable stay. The ground floor features a cosy living space with wood burning stove and leads to a contemporary kitchen. It comes with a microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, coffee machine and wine cooler. Upstairs you’ll find a cosy double bedroom with comfortable bed, storage and hanging space and the second bedroom has twin beds. The bold but calming colours add character to this charming cottage. You’ll love the bathroom, it features a large shower head over the feature bath and Heated towel rail. The high spec finish and interior design has been carefully thought through and it’s just perfect for a relaxing break in this traditional market town. Once you arrive you can leave the car behind to make the most of your prime location.
Teapot Cottage is only a 2-minute walk into Kendal town centre, you are round the corner from a large Booths supermarket. The first of many pubs is a 3-4-minute walk offering a selection of beers and craft ales and has a great gin collection. Kendal has an abundance of well-known high street brands mixed with several independent retailers, coffee shops, cafés, deli’s, bars, and restaurants. With a weekly outdoor market selling anything from local crafts to clothing as well as a permanent indoor market open daily, you’ll find plenty on your doorstep to fill your days.
Kendal Museum dating back to 1796 and is only a 10-minute walk, and Abbott Hall is ideal for Art lovers just 15 minutes away on foot. Situated only drive 10 minutes from the M6, Kendal is known as The Gateway to the Lakes. In just 15 minutes by car, you’ll reach Windermere, Bowness-on Windermere and in 20 minutes, Ambleside. These popular tourist hotspots are ideal for a day out to shop, eat, drink, and make the most of the natural beauty that Lake Windermere offers. You can also reach Windermere by train if you wish with Kendal railway station being only 15 minutes’ walk away.
