This fabulous detached barn conversion has got it all - location, stunning panoramic fell views, quality eco-friendly biomass heating, garden and great facilities. The living accommodation is upstairs, taking advantage of the light and wonderful views, and there is a very spacious dining room/kitchen with everything you will need to cook up a feast and a table large enough to accommodate everyone. The living room has beautiful fell views through large windows that are on three sides of the room, and a study with games console. The bedrooms and bathrooms are on the ground floor. Outside there is a very pleasant garden with lawn and decking in which to relax or dine al fresco.
Town Gate Barn is located in the popular village of Threlkeld at the foot of Blencathra, with superb walks from the door. Threlkeld is on the main bus route between Penrith station and Keswick, and has two great pubs each serving food. The bustling tourist town of Keswick is 4 miles and can be accessed on foot via the ’old railway line walk’. Shop 4 miles, pub and restaurant 400 yards.
