This one bedroom property has an open plan living space with patio doors opening onto a patio and extensive garden. From the garden you can enjoy views over Lake Windermere, or explore the grounds, complete with woodland and a man-made lake.

Situated just off the main road leading from Newby Bridge to Bowness-on-Windermere, you are in the perfect spot to access the Lake District National Park. If you like the rugged outdoors this is a great place to get active. It is surrounded by some amazing walking and cycle routes, as well picturesque scenery including lakes, waterfalls and forests. You are also within a short drive to many other popular Lake District towns such as Ambleside, Grasmere, Ulverston and Coniston. Of course you don’t have to travel far for adventure, but with many of the 214 Wainwright Fells within easy reach, you can be as active as you wish. At Hazel Hurst Cottage you really have a great base from which to enjoy your next Lake District escape. Beach 11 miles. Shop 2¼ miles, pub and restaurant 5 miles.
