The Lake District National Park and Trough of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty are less than 40 minutes away by car, while a trip on the nearby Settle to Carlisle Railway line will take you to Leeds or Carlisle.
Ingleton, the nearest village, has an indoor climbing and bouldering wall, cycle pump track, outdoor swimming pool and children’s riverside play area. There are many walks in the area, including the famous waterfalls trail and Whitescar Caves. There are independent shops to explore including an award-winning bakery selling artisan cakes and bakes.
