This beautiful detached cottage in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales is perfect for families and couples wanting to explore everything this amazing area has to offer. The interior has been lovingly decorated with high quality and stylish furnishings to ensure maximum comfort during your stay.
Each bedroom has views out over the stunning countryside and the garden, surrounded by flowers and shrubs, is the ideal spot to relax in with a glass of wine. There are two living rooms downstairs, one with patio doors out into the garden and a second with smart TV and games, perfect for the kids! The kitchen is the heart of this home, with a breakfast bar looking out over the garden and a traditional barn door with views out over the dales. There is also a utility room with a washing machine for when you come back from muddy walks and cycle storage in the garage.
Situated in Threshfield, a small village in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, Monkholme View is ideally located for exploring the beautiful local countryside. There are many walks straight from your door and cycling is very popular in the area, especially since the Tour de Yorkshire route runs nearby. You’ll also find a local shop with a deli and butchers just a short walk away as well as a friendly local pub. Grassington is 1 mile away, famed for it’s cobbled streets lined with independent shops, tearooms and pubs as well as hosting an array of events all year round such as the Music and Arts Festival in summer and Dickensian Festival held in December to get you into the Christmas spirit.
There are lots of beautiful dales villages well worth exploring nearby including Kettlewell, Burnsall and Malham. Bolton Abbey is just a short drive away offering plenty of walking within the magnificent 30, 000 acre grounds and picture perfect picnic spots beside the river. The charming market town of Skipton, also 15 minutes away, is home to an ancient castle, cobbled high street and colourful street market. The Forest of Bowland AONB, Pendle and Lake District National Park can all be reached within an hour.
