Dating back to the 1800s, Harewood Cottage still retains its sense of history. No expense has been spared by the owners and visitors are ensured of perfection throughout.
Entrance is gained into the comfortable living room which is complete with a stunning woodburner adding extra charm and additional heat, as well as comfortable sofas and a Smart TV, giving a great place to snuggle up in front of the fire on those colder evenings with a glass or two of red wine. In addition, there is a dining table and chairs in the living area which make the property great for socialising or playing a board game with the family. On the same floor is the designer kitchen which features all the usual mod cons and is fully equipped for all your culinary needs, should you not wish to eat at the many eateries close by. All three bedrooms have fresh bed linen for a perfect night’s sleep, meaning you are fully energised for the next day’s adventure. On the first floor is the family bathroom complete with a shower over bath should you wish to have a long soak after a day exploring, and a heated towel rail. To the rear of the cottage the enclosed private patio and decked area is a great place for having a glass of fizz alfresco or taking in the morning air with a coffee.
The cottage itself is just a short walk from the famed Harewood House and fabulous grounds, which is a great place for a family day out with various activities available to keep everyone entertained. Harewood Cottage is just under 8 miles to the centre of Harrogate meaning you have so much to explore. You have the world-famous Betty’s Tearoom which is a must for afternoon tea along with many fantastic independent restaurants, pubs and shops. The Valley Gardens are nearby and RHS Harlow Carr and are perfect for a gentle stroll after lunch. Let us not forget that Harrogate is on the doorstep of the Yorkshire Dales meaning there is plenty of opportunities to explore what Yorkshire has to offer, with it being on foot or by bike you will always have plenty to see and investigate.
