Centrally located just a short stroll from the centre of Thirsk, with a pretty cobbled market square and a good choice of independent shops, pubs and restaurants. You can literally park up in your private parking space and enjoy everything that Thirsk has to offer on foot. There is a generous welcome basket which includes a complimentary coffee and cake at the nearby pet friendly coffee shop to help get you in the holiday mood.
The cottage is tucked away in a mews courtyard, tastefully decorated and presented to a very good standard. With a spacious living/dining area with comfortable seating, Smart TV and bluetooth speaker for your music. A shaker style kitchen provides all your necessary appliances, including a washing machine and dishwasher. Upstairs are two bedrooms with kingsize beds and smart crisp bedding for a good nights sleep.
Thirsk is the one-time home of the novel writing vet, James Herriot, and is an excellent base to explore the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors National Parks. It offers so many possibilities with the city of York, Harrogate and the east coast all within easy driving distance.
