Set on a hillside in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, this converted stone barn, which has been awarded a 3 star VisitEngland award, is nestled down a private lane surrounded by beautiful, farmed, green fields, in the tiny hamlet of Marrick. As such it enjoys spectacular long distance views with hardly another house to be seen, and is ideally placed for walking direct from the door along the nearby ‘Nun’s Causey’, a centuries old stone path leading to the Priory through a wildflower-filled wood. Reeth is just 2 miles and offers a small selection of shops and pubs, whilst historic Richmond is 6 miles and offers a wider selection of shops together with the castle, cobbled market place and Georgian Theatre. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
