This stylish second floor apartment is perfect for guests looking for a central base to get out and explore Yorkshire and County Durham. Furnished with a boutique feel, The Apartment caters comfortably for up to three people, offering both a double and a single bedroom. There is also a bathroom with bath and shower, and a well-equipped kitchen where you can rustle up supper, should you decide to have a cosy night in.
The apartment is just a short walk from the railway station, making it easy to take day trips to York, Harrogate, or north towards the City of Durham and Newcastle or the beaches of Northumberland at Berwick and Alnmouth. The local market towns of Bedale, Ripon and Thirsk are also just a short drive away.
It is well placed for exploring the local market town of Northallerton, where you will find plenty of independent shops, restaurants and tea rooms, and a lovely wide High Street where Georgian houses line the long main street. Here you will find the famous Betty’s tea rooms, along with a fantastic local delicatessen. It also hosts a twice weekly market on Wednesdays and Saturdays, where you can buy fresh local produce. Beach 21 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
