NINETEEN is a beautiful cottage situated in the peaceful village of Bishop Middleham in County Durham. This house offers a high level of comfort for guests. Sitting in an elevated position it enjoys lovely views with private lawned gardens to the front and rear of the property. To the rear of the property there’s a private drive with parking for 1-2 vehicles. This property is ideal for families and friends to enjoy home from home comforts while visiting the North of England. Downstairs, the spacious living/dining room has a wood burner nestled within a feature fireplace. Separate modern kitchen and utility. Upstairs are three spacious bedrooms, with a modern family bathroom with bath and shower over.

Just a short stroll from Nineteen there is a popular village pub serving fine food. There is also a convenience store and post office. Nearby in the market town of Sedgefield you can enjoy a varied selection of independent shops, pubs, supermarkets, restaurants, and takeaways, along with lovely tea shops perfect for coffee and cake or afternoon tea.

Within a short drive you are in the centre of the historic city of Durham with its beautiful riverside walks. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the city is filled with a variety of historic sites and popular visitor attractions that are centuries old. Durham Castle and cathedral must be visited to appreciate the awe-inspiring architecture. Durham is a thriving city with plenty of entertainment at any time of the year. The incredible Lumiere Festival takes place every second November, enjoy the jazz festival, arts festival, Miners Gala, and many more free attractions, as well as the weekly farmers’ market. The university colleges and campuses can be found nearby, and this is the ideal base to get to know the university and visit friends and family who might be attending one of the graduation ceremonies. The Heritage Coast is under 16 miles away. A little further you can visit the beautiful coastal villages of Northumberland or to the south, Redcar, Saltburn and Whitby. This lovely house provides a superb base from which to enjoy the beautiful county of Durham.
