A short walk leads to the heart of the quaint village, where visitors will conveniently find a community shop, post office, choice of two pubs serving traditional meals, a fish and chip shop, and an Indian restaurant and takeaway. There are numerous walks and cycling trails from the doorstep, and just beyond, lie the Howardian Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
