Resting on the edge of the pretty rural village of Shiptonthorpe, in the East Riding of Yorkshire, Coriander is a cosy mid-terraced ground floor apartment. Well presented, it is ideal for a couple looking to explore the Yorkshire Wolds. Coriander is one of four properties which formed a well respected bed and breakfast and the accommodation is all on the ground floor. Enter straight into the large kitchen/dining room, which has plenty of cupboard space to store your holiday essentials and work top area to prepare a delicious picnic to enjoy whilst out exploring. A dining table for two sits to one side and an archway takes you through to the living area/bedroom where you will find a kingsize bed and deep-filled comfortable sofa. The large Freeview TV is ideally placed so you can snuggle up during the evening to catch up with your favourite soap. This room offers lovely views out across a pretty cottage garden. After a long day exploring the Yorkshire Wolds, why not take a soak and relax tired muscles in the large corner bath? Coriander enjoys a shared mature garden with pretty cottage borders, lawn and seating area - perfect for an enjoying an early morning coffee whilst listening to the dawn chorus or for dining out during the warmer months.
Coriander is a short drive from the market town of Pocklington and Market Weighton with fine food options using local produce; including the famous Michenlin star restaurant "The Pipe & Glass" at South Dalton. The popular minster town of Beverley is just 10 minutes away, where you will find a unique shopping experience as well as a racecourse and the famous Westwood where you can enjoy a game of golf or a relaxing walk.
Further afield is the thriving city of York which offers an abundance of tourist attractions, including the Jorvik Viking Centre, a fully reconstructed Viking village and a museum. Whilst visiting Coriander take a day to explore the unspoilt rolling hills of the Yorkshire Wolds, venture over to the coast and take in the spectacular birdlife at RSPB Bempton Cliffs or visiting the vibrant coastal towns of Filey, Scarborough and Whitby.
