Wold House Cottage is attached to the owners’ early Georgian house, and has an additional annexe accessed across the courtyard with a twin bedroom with tea/coffee facilities and an en-suite shower room, making it ideal for larger families holidaying together. Both properties have shared use of an outdoor, heated swimming pool, 6. 4m long, where children must be supervised, as well as shared use of a mini-gym.
Bridlington, 9 miles, has a wide sandy beach, pretty harbour offering boat trips, leisure facilities and spa pavilion. RSPB Bird Sanctuary at Bempton, 12 miles.
This is an ideal location for enjoying the coast or country, with the traditional seaside resort of Scarborough and the rugged, unspoilt beauty of the North York Moors National Park 20 miles away. For an alternative day out, the ancient walled city of York is 25 miles away, with its magnificent minster, museums and a myriad of shops and cobbled alleyways. Burton Agnes Hall, 5 miles, fishing 2 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
