Owl View is a great holiday cottage surrounded by open countryside yet only three miles from the golden sands of Bridlington Bay on the beautiful North Yorkshire coastline. With open plan living and pretty cottage bedrooms this holiday home is perfect for four looking to enjoy a relaxing Yorkshire holiday.
Step inside and the find a bright and airy open plan living area complete with modern kitchen, dining table and deep filled sofas. To the first floor are three very pretty bedrooms; two singles with views over open countryside and a double with French doors onto a Juliette balcony. A shower room sits across the hall, with a separate toilet on the ground floor. From the hall there is access to a patio area to the rear. Here you can enjoy an early morning coffee or perhaps come together for an al fresco meal.
The village of Boynton is just a mile away and Bridlington Beach is under three miles from the cottage. Just along the road from the property there’s a garden centre with a café that serves excellent food and proves to be very popular amongst guests staying at the complex. Bridlington is a bustling seaside resort and has something for all age groups. The large sandy beach is great for the children as well as the rock pools for crabbing. The Yorkshire Belle leisure boat has taken tourists up and down the coast for many years and is well worth a trip.
To the north of Bridlington there’s the seaside resorts of Flamborough Head, Filey and Scarborough as well as the RSPB bird sanctuary at Bempton Cliffs where you can see the puffins perched on the cliffs. The ’Old Town’ of Bridlington is just a mile away with a beautiful Georgian high street with lots of antique shops, local pubs and cosmopolitan cafés and restaurants. The ’Old Town’ was also where the Dad’s Army movie was filmed. From Bridlington seafront you can catch the land train up to Sewerby and visit Sewerby Hall with its award-winning gardens and a small zoo for the children. Owl View is a great base from which to visit the Yorkshire Wolds, the North York Moors and Yorkshire’s east coast.
