The Bolthole

This bright, modern and extremely spacious lower ground floor apartment, forms part of a grand Victorian building, and has a private front porch area that leads into the entrance hall. The apartment also benefits from having its own private, outdoor seating area.

The Bolthole is situated on the South Cliff in Scarborough, close to the South Bay beach, where you can enjoy stunning walks along the cliff tops which form part of the Cleveland Way. Within a short drive you will find the coastal towns of Filey, Bridlington and Whitby, or in the other direction, the North York Moors National Park. Catch the steam train from Pickering to Whitby and stop off at Goathland where the popular TV series ’Heartbeat’ was filmed. The RSPB Bempton Cliffs nature reserve is close by where you can observe puffins, dolphins and seals in their natural habitat.

The historic city of York is an hour’s drive and makes for a great day out. This wonderful walled city has an array of amenities with some wonderful cafés, shops and street entertainers. For those who enjoy the theatre, Scarborough boasts Europe’s largest open air theatre. The famous Stephen Joseph Theatre is also nearby and is known for its premiers of almost all of Alan Ayckbourn’s plays. Beach 600 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 500 yards.
