Hayes Cottages is a beautifully converted, 17th century barn overlooking a small lake in rural North Yorkshire, just 2 miles from the village of Scalby and 5 miles from the Victorian seaside town of Scarborough. Scarborough boasts 2 large bays, North and South, each with its own charm. The award winning Filey beach is just a 10-minute drive beyond Scarborough and the gothic fishing town of Whitby lies further to the north and is well worth a visit with its famous abbey, cobbled streets and now home to Captain Cook’s ship, The Endeavour. Beach 2 miles. Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
