This first floor apartment is located beside the local corner shop which was once a Victorian bakery. Bothams, the family run bakery, is still going strong in the town centre and is popular with locals and visitors alike. Completely renovated throughout, stepping inside the apartment it is modern and inviting, welcoming you to a comfortable stay by the seaside. There is an open plan living area, ideal for winding down in an evening. The living area boasts a cosy sofa for you to relax on in front of the large smart TV, perfect for snug evenings in together, enjoying each other’s company. There is a dining table where you can enjoy romantic home cooked meals together. This is your opportunity to impress your loved one using some locally sourced fresh local seafood, or simply unwrap some award winning fish and chips for an authentic taste of the coast. The kitchen is well equipped and ready for you to whip your favourite meals. The bedroom is spacious and has a double bed as well as storage for your belongings. The bathroom has a shower over the bath, where you can have the option of a relaxing soak or a refreshing shower to start or end your day.

Whitby draws guests from around the UK, who are drawn to its characterful cobbled streets, with the iconic abbey overlooking the town from the cliff top. You are just a leisurely stroll away from the many attractions the popular seaside town of Whitby has to offer, including the long golden stretch of sandy beach, the 199 steps up to St Mary’s Church, the boat trips, museums and ghost walks.

This area has a colourful past, including tales of pirates, smugglers, vikings, as well as being the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s Dracula. As well as Whitby you have the surrounding coastline as well as the North Yorkshire Moors National Park to discover. For those who wish to experience the wonders of this inspiring area, why not take a long, lazy walk amid the scenic beauty of the National Park, which can be accessed by the heritage steam train from Whitby winding its way through the rolling hills of heather. You can also explore quaint coastal villages such as Robin Hood’s Bay, Staithes or Runswick Bay. Take in the sights along the seafront at Filey, Scarborough or Saltburn. And if you’re a history buff, take a trip into York to soak up the culture brought by both the Romans and the Vikings.
