Number 3 is set in an ideal location to explore the delightful National Park, with many scenic walking trails to choose from. As well as the stunning Yorkshire Coastline as you are less than 10 minutes’ drive away from the inspirational coastal village of Staithes.
This charming bungalow is set within Easington, a peaceful village with a friendly local pub serving hearty home cooked meals. The property is surrounded by a large garden, with a drive for off-road parking. The rear paved and gravelled garden is enclosed making it ideal for young children as well as dogs. There is also the added bonus of a garage complete with a pool table and dart board.
Inside, the property is set all on the ground floor, with a well-equipped kitchen perfect for creating all of your favourite family meals. As well as a separate living room with comfortable seating around the TV, there are three well-presented bedrooms to choose from and a bathroom with a walk-in shower and bath with shower attachment. This is a great choice for families as well as groups of friends, with a great selection of interesting sites to visit nearby.
For those who love the coast, there are some wonderful beaches nearby to discover. Saltburn is a surfers’ paradise, and has an iconic pier as well as some trendy bars and restaurants. Staithes has undeniable charm; this village huddles around the shoreline, with little fishing boats sailing out from the harbour. Runswick Bay is gorgeous, with sweeping golden sand, perfect for a scenic stroll while taking in the fresh sea breeze. Whitby is just a 30-minute drive away, a seafaring town with a fascinating history and an abbey overlooking the cobbled streets lined with independent shops and quirky cafés. Visit the museums, ride a boat out of the harbour or simply take in the sights and enjoy award-winning, locally caught fish and chips.
The North York Moors National Park is also on the doorstep, with ancient forests, miles of heather-clad hills and valleys, and lovely villages and walking trails. This is a beautiful destination all year round with a huge variety of local events to enjoy. The many local events include Staithes art festival, Saltburn’s food festival, and Whitby’s regatta as well as the famous Goth Weekend. Beach 3 miles. Shop 1½ miles, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
