Fuchsia Cottage

This property will ensure that you have a welcoming base to return to after a day of exploring. With both a front and a rear lawned garden as well as a patio. Beautifully presented throughout, the owners have ensured that you will have a comfortable stay, each room hast thoughtful personal touches as well as careful attention to detail. The lounge has a feature electric stove as well as sofas around the TV, ideal for unwinding together in an evening. There is a separate dining room as well as a well-equipped kitchen, where you can create your favourite meals. This is a spacious property for couples, with plenty of space to entertain friends or family who visit. There is also a conservatory on the ground floor which is ideal for coats & boots as well as storage for bikes & other outdoor equipment. Upstairs there is a kingsize bedroom with wardrobes and two sets of drawers. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over, so you can end the day either with an indulgent long soak or refresh under the shower.
Stainsacre is a small peaceful village, with a friendly local pub delighting both locals and visitors with their hearty freshly cooked meals. The “Cinder Track” connects the village with neighbouring Whitby, around a 45 minute walk away in the North and Robin Hoods Bay, Ravenscar and Scarborough in the South, ideal for dog walks as well as a cycle trail. You also have trails through Stainsacre woods which are around a 5 minute walk away. There are two super markets as well as a popular bakery a 15 minute stroll away. You are in an ideal position to explore the surrounding coastline. From historic Whitby and it’s iconic Abbey, Saltburn with its long Victorian pier and surfer’s waves and Flamborough’s lighthouse, puffins and seals. There are both long golden stretches of beaches close by as well as quaint little villages tucked around coves and harbours. For those who love the great outdoors as well as stunning moorland scenery in the North Yorkshire National Park there are also ancient forests such as Falling Foss with it’s waterfall and Dalby Forest, with footpaths, bike trails and zip-lining through the tree tops. There are some beautiful places to visit for a romantic day to remember, making this a perfect destination through all the seasons.
