Loyal Cerise is a delightful period end of terrace house situated in the pretty river side village of Cawood just 10 miles from York. This well presented house is perfect for a group of friends or a family to enjoy this picturesque side of York.
Enter a welcoming hall and on into the open-plan kitchen/dining room, fitted with quality shaker style units, a Belfast sink and wooden worktops which provides ample space for the preparation of delicious home cooked meals. The dining table sits to one end and is perfect for a family breakfast or a relaxing evening meal. Walk through to the large living room, with its stunning inglenook fireplace and woodburning stove. The feature wall, wooden church pew and artwork provide a dramatic feel to this room. There are plenty of sofas to curl up and unwind on in an evening catching up with your favourite shows or enjoying some quality family time together. Or why not throw open the French doors and spend an hour or two relaxing in the hot tub with a glass of fizz!
Loyal Cerise has three beautifully presented bedrooms spread over the first and second floors. To the first floor is a double room and a family room with both a double and a single bed and to the second floor, nestled into the eves, is a large kingsize room with exposed beams. You will find a bathroom on both floors offering a combination of bath and shower options. Step outside into the courtyard where you can enjoy some al fresco dining, time in the hot tub or a peaceful early morning coffee before the day begins.
The village of Cawood offers an array of shops, cafés and pubs so you won’t need to travel far to stock up on holiday essentials and this beautiful period holiday home is only a short drive from the historic city of York. Be awed by the majestic York Mister, enjoy wandering through the many cobbled streets and snickelways, some dating back over 600 years, or enjoy some of the UK’s leading tourist attractions including The National Railway Museum, York Chocolate Story and the Jorvik Viking Centre. For the more energetic, there are miles of cycle and footpaths to enjoy and York race course is only a short drive away too!
