The Beehive
The Beehive is a delightful, detached static home and is ideally set on the Lido Leisure Park in the gorgeous market and spa town of Knaresborough. With its stylish decoration and furnishing, The Beehive offers families, couples and friends a perfect holiday retreat whilst being ideally located to explore all that the Yorkshire Dales and surrounding areas have to offer. You enter the property into the open plan living area, which is a perfect place to kick back and relax in. The kitchen/dining area has everything you would need and plenty of space for food preparation along with a dining table which seats four people, giving a great area to have a family meal. There are two bedrooms; the master bedroom offers a plush double and the second bedroom offers twin beds. A shower room completes the accommodation. Outside is a small patio area with seating, ideal for al fresco dining in the summer months.
Located on the leisure park means that you have instant access to the independently run clubhouse, which has a large lounge bar area and offers quality home cooked meals seven days a week. It also has live entertainment and Sky Sports. The leisure park also has a fantastic café with a balcony overlooking the beautiful River Nidd, again independently run.
Knaresborough itself offers a fantastic market on a Wednesday, and is also famous for Mother Shipton’s Cave, the Petrifying Well and an interesting castle, painted by JMW Turner, which is perched high on the cliff top. Stroll along the riverside promenade, relax with an ice cream or hire a boat and spend an afternoon ‘messing about on the river’. If you did want to go further afield there is the stylish spa town Harrogate just a short 20-minute drive, awash with fantastic restaurants, pubs, and the famous Betty’s Tea Rooms, which are not to be missed for afternoon tea. Knaresborough is on the doorstep of the Yorkshire Dales with plenty of opportunities to explore the stunning countryside, whether on foot or by bike. Bar serving food and café on-site.
