Spindle Lilly is a perfect apartment set in a beautiful, rural setting and is 3 miles south of Skipton and the gateway to the North York Moors National Park. This first floor apartment boasts an open plan living space and a charming, south-facing balcony which overlooks open fields with grazing sheep and rabbits playing. In the distance you can see the small railway station of Cononley, with direct links to Skipton, Leeds and Carlise. The apartment has two bedrooms, one with a stunning en-suite. The second bedroom can be a double or a twin, and the big family bathroom has a beautiful bathtub and shower.

The village of Cononley dates back to the 17th century and was a well known centre for handloom weaving and lead mining. Cononley sits in a valley with the rolling hills of Yorkshire surrounding it and there are many local walks from 1km to well over 8km.

Ilkley is 10 miles away, famous for Ilkely Moor, and the area has plenty of walks across the open moors, and afterwards there is Betty’s famous tea rooms for a well earned afternoon tea. Haworth, home of the Brontë sisters, is one of the most picturesque villages in Yorkshire and also only 10 miles away. The spa town of Harrogate is 20 miles away by car and offers boutique and high street stores, as well as plenty of bars and restaurants.

The quaint railway station is minutes away with direct trains straight into Skipton or Leeds city centre where you can peruse the Trinity shopping centre and dine at some of the best restaurants in the area. Other places to visit include the market town of Skipton, with its bustling high street and castle, and Grassington, with its cobbled streets and popular pubs. Stroll along the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, or visit Malham Tarn, England’s highest freshwater lake. For a family day out, Bolton Abbey is great for a picnic and children will love exploring the priory ruins. Yorkshire is one the most sought after destinations, and Spindle Lilly is a beautiful base at which to stay during your visit. Shop and pub 100 yards, restaurant 3 miles.
