The Nook at Nydsley Hall is a three-bedroom basement apartment with a private entrance via your own stone patio area complete with hot tub and outdoor seating for six guests.
You enter the large modern kitchen/dining room from your terrace. The bespoke Keseller kitchen has mostly Neff appliances, and is well equipped to cook a family dinner, with a large dining table which seats six guests. The apartment has a cosy, cottage feel due to the low ceilings and beams in some rooms. For this reason, it may not be suitable for particularly tall guests as some of the doorways are less than 6ft high.
There are three double bedrooms with supremely comfortable beds which have luxurious velvet winged bedheads, superior Egyptian cotton bedding, and a stylish combination of antique and contemporary furniture. The living room is a good size with the original stone fireplace and comfortable seating. The large main bathroom has a freestanding roll-top bath with traditional handheld shower head, large sink with mirror and toilet.
Locations don’t get any more perfect than Nydsley hall. There is so much to see and do in the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. For cyclists, the Pateley Bridge to Masham route and challenging Cote de Lofthouse climb featured as part of the 2017 Tour de Yorkshire and the 2019 World Cycling Championships are also nearby. With Nydsley Hall being located in Pateley Bridge, you have instant access to all the independent shops, cafés, restaurants and pubs. The market town of Masham is 10 miles away and, further afield, the cathedral city of Ripon is 40 minutes or the stylish spa town of Harrogate a 45-minute drive. Nearby National Trust attractions include the magnificent Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal near Ripon and Brimham Rocks in Summerbridge.
