Externally there are three bedrooms in the undercroft, all enjoying beautiful garden views. On the ground floor is a welcoming living room with open views across the beautiful garden and Dales and a door leading to wrap-around terrace. With comfortable sofas nestling around a log burning stove, it’s the perfect place to gather to enjoy good company. The attractive kitchen is well equipped to cater for your group. A large granite island and shaker style kitchen, leading off to a breakfast/dining area, you could imagine gathering here while the designated chef rustles up a hearty supper. There is a separate dining room with French doors leading out onto the terrace set with tables and chairs and rattan furniture.
Whether dining indoors or alfresco you can still admire the stunning vistas. Outside, the large private garden is a place where you can sit and take in the beautiful fell views, giving a beautiful place to watch the sunset in the evening, which can be quite spectacular and on a clear night, bright stars can be seen in abundance.
Hawes is a traditional picturesque market town with a host of attractions that are just a short walk from Loxley House. The Wensleydale Creamery, The Dales Countryside Museum, Hardraw Force and a good selection of cafés, restaurants, pubs and shops. On Tuesdays there is a traditional market with outdoor and indoor stalls, and other attractions within a short drive are Aysgarth falls, Castle Bolton, Ingleton Waterfalls, White Scar Caves, Buttertubs Pass, Wensleydale Railway and Settle to Carlisle Railway.
