Beechgrove is ideally located close to the much loved Cumbrian towns of Kirkby Stephen and Appleby. Both are full of character with a wealth of history, evident in the many historic buildings.
The towns offer a selection of independent retailers, cafés, traditional inns and restaurants. The spectacular scenery of the Howgill Fells lies immediately to the south and the property is on the south-western fringe of the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Wainwright’s Coast to Coast walk passes through Kirkby Stephen, which also has a station on the scenic Settle-Carlisle railway line. National cycle routes pass through the village.
