Fern Cottage is a modern, yet cosy cottage with exposed beams, curved walls, and wooden furniture throughout to keep within the theme.
With three good sized bedrooms benefitting from two king sized beds and a bunk bed, accommodating up to six guests this is the perfect base for family and friends to get together. Surrounded by the rolling countryside of the Nidderdale area of outstanding beauty, this is the perfect place for walkers and cyclists. You are perfectly situated to enjoy the local village withtwo pubs, cafés and walks right on your doorstep. Nearby attractions include The How Stean Gorge outdoor activity centre and The Stud Fold children’s adventure park, The Forbidden Corner, Yorkshire Dales National Park and so much more!
Benefiting from a cosy lounge with a Morso log burning stove, a perfect place to unwind after a long day exploring. A modern kitchen including dishwasher and a separate living/dining room with window seat. Fern Cottage also has a Smart TV fit for you to watch your own Netflix and more, along with an Xbox 360 for the kids . There is also a selection of board games, card games and traditional African games to try your hand at. Upstairs are three bedrooms, two comfortable doubles with king size beds and a third with bunk beds along with a house bathroom, with shower and bath. Outside is a south facing outdoor seating area with a barbecue available for use, perfect for enjoying the sun and watching village life come and go.
Guests also have access to the adjacent garage where we have washing and drying facilities, log store should you run out and space to store bikes or walking equipment along with a hose if you end up bringing half the trail back with you!
