This stunning detached barn conversion offers a luxurious stay in the charming little village of Stainburn, tucked away between the Victorian spa town of Harrogate and market town of Otley. It is situated on the owners working farm, but please note that there is no guest access to the farm or the farm buildings . The cottage hosts a bright kitchen which enjoys excellent natural light and is well equipped with all the culinary appliances and equipment you could need. Adjoining is a convenient and self-contained utility room with both a washing machine and tumble dryer. Beyond the kitchen is a comfortable sitting room with leather sofas to sink into, a Smart TV, DVD player and a multi-fuel burning stove perfect for those chilly evenings. At the end of the day you can retire to one of two elegantly decorated bedrooms upstairs. Both rooms enjoy stunning countryside views, have comfortable king sized beds, and lavish en-suites with bath and power shower in which you can relax and unwind after a busy days exploring.
The cottage boasts a large outdoor area comprising a terrace and lawned area as well as a BBQ and shed which is ideal for bike storage. The view over the surrounding countryside is stunning and the terrace offers a fantastic place to watch the sun set whilst having a well-deserved glass of fizz, al fresco style! Middle Mistal truly is in a fantastic location giving you access to the Yorkshire Dales which is full of outdoor activities and breath-taking scenery. Close by the property you also have Almscliffe Crag which offers spectacular views after a short climb to the top. Within a 20-minute drive is the town of Harrogate which is lined with restaurants, cafés, pubs and bars, as well as delightful independent shops. Nearby towns include Otley, Ilkley and Skipton. The historic city of York and Leeds are easily accessed by car or train. The local train station is 5 minutes away. The only issue you will find with this retreat is trying to fit in everything it has to offer!
