Holmfirth, recognised from it’s ’Last of the Summer Wine’ fame and also home to its own vineyard, is just 15 minutes away, as is the Peak District National Park. For those wanting to venture further afield, an hour’s drive will take you to the historic walled city of York, Harrogate, Leeds or even Skipton, which is also regarded as the ’Gateway to the Dales’.
