The Cottage Gallery is a lovely stone-walled mid-terraced cottage located in Mottram Moor, on the border with Derbyshire and the Peak District. Set back from a four-lane carriageway to the front, the back quite superbly opens out onto a long garden which adjoins fields with horses and passing deer. Here you can enjoy a morning coffee or evening glass of wine whilst taking in the far-reaching views.
With the aim of conserving the environment, the property has been furnished with repurposed furniture throughout, and as you step inside, you’ll be greeted by a warm and inviting living room complete with a wood-burning stove. There’s comfortable seating perfect for curling up with a good book, watching your favourite shows or having battles on the Xbox 360. The fully equipped kitchen is adjacent to the living room and contains all the amenities you need to prepare delicious meals during your stay should you wish. The first floor features two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other two with single beds, accommodating up to four guests in total. The bedrooms are equipped with blackout blinds to ensure a peaceful night’s sleep, and the living room also has a double sofa bed for flexible sleeping arrangements.
