Nunmill Nest
Nunmill Nest is a comfortable late Victorian terraced house with three bedrooms, one kingsize, one double and one single. It is well decorated and well equipped with everything needed to help you feel at home. Cated in the heart of York and with nearby on street parking, just a short stroll from the city centre and with easy access to the River Ouse and Rowntree Park which is just 10 minutes away. It is ideally located for a family or group of friends wishing to explore this most historic city. The property is only a 10-15 minute walk from York train station, providing easy access to the East Coast Main Line. Should you wish leave the kitchen and eat out, only a 2-minute walk away you will find Bishy Road with an array of coffee shops, small supermarkets, restaurants and takeways.
Step inside and the open living/dining area which provides plenty of social space for relaxing in front of the TV on an evening or for gathering at the dining table for a delicious home cooked meal after a day exploring York’s many attractions. The large bay window floods the room with natural light and the gas fire and deep filled, comfortable sofas provide a real cosy feel to this room. Nunmill Nest is ideally situated, with a level walk of ten-fifteen minutes to York city centre, the train station and the racecourse. And there’s on street parking. To reach the city centre, you turn immediately into the iconic Bishy Road, walk through the range of coffee shops, restaurants, take-aways and small independent shops, go past the city walls, across the river and you’re opposite Clifford’s Tower, built by the Normans to demonstrate their power. It couldn’t be simpler.
