The Lodge
This delightful property is situated on the owner’s small holding, just outside the pretty village of Bubwith, 13 miles from the historic city of York. It is set in open countryside with a private hot tub offering stunning views across open countryside. This idyllic lodge provides good quality accommodation; ideal for a romantic break away. The Lodge features an open plan living space complete with wood burner and French doors leading out onto a large decked area. The kitchen has everything needed to cook delicious homemade meals and the dining table sits in front of a window which has cleverly been lowered so you can take in the incredible view whilst dining. Outside, the property has a large decked area with a hot tub and seating, perfect to enjoy al fresco dining or to sit out in the evening and watch the resident barn owl hunt.
The Lodge offers great road links to York where you can enjoy world renowned attractions such as York Minster, The National Armories, Jorvik and the National Railway Museum. The Yorkshire Dales, North York Moors National Parks and the East Coast as well as the vibrant city of Leeds are also within travelling distance; there are also many historic houses and gardens to explore making this a great destination to enjoy your romantic break away.
