Set within walking distance of Doncaster city centre, this property offers a high quality modern, spacious holiday home, ideal for families, couples, or friends.
The house is set over two floors; on the ground floor you are presented with a fabulously large open-plan kitchen that is well equipped, well presented for all your culinary needs, and a great place to socialise at the breakfast bar with a drink or two. From the kitchen leading onto the superb patio area, you have a fantastic place to have a glass of fizz in the summer months or have your morning coffee to get energised for the day ahead. Adjacent to the kitchen is the comfortable living room, a perfect place to kick back and relax in comfort after a day out exploring in front of the large Smart TV and bluetooth sound system. Also on the ground floor is a lovely shower room with a large walk-in shower, ideal for guests on the go. Alternatively, if you did want a long soak there is a second bathroom on the first floor which offers a bath and heated towel rail. There is plenty to do in and around the area - both Doncaster and Sheffield are within easy reach of the property with various tourist attractions including Cusworth Hall Museum and Park, Doncaster Museum and Art Gallery, and the South Yorkshire Aircraft Museum. A great family day out and a must is Yorkshire Wildlife Park which you can reach in under 20 minutes by car. Before your arrival also check the race meetings at Doncaster Racecourse should you fancy a day at the races. Not to forget Ferrers House is perfectly placed in between both the stunning Peak District and Lincolnshire Wolds National Parks which are both fantastic for exploring whether this be by foot or bike there are plenty of bike trails and scenic walks.
There is so much to do and see from Ferrers House, the only issue you will have is fitting everything in so why not book a couple of extra days?
