In addition, there are three more bathrooms, one on the ground floor and two on the first, the ground floor presents a stunning freestanding roll top bath, ideal to have a soak in after a day exploring. Limestone Hill Farmhouse is perfectly positioned on the outskirts of Tickhill in between the rolling countryside yet the local convenience store is close by to stock up on essentials, as is the local pub serving homemade pub grub and local ales, Ideal if you wanted a night off from cooking. There is plenty to do on the doorstep on the farmhouse with the historic ruins of Tickhill Castle and then for some good family fun go and visit Tickhill Apacas which is a must. Both Doncaster and Sheffield are within easy reach of the property with various tourist attractions including Cusworth Hall Museum and Park, Doncaster Museum and Art Gallery and the South Yorkshire Aircraft Museum.
Before your arrival also check the race meetings at Doncaster Racecourse, 6 miles, should you fancy a day out. The racecourse holds the St Ledger Festival in September. Don’t miss out Not to forget the stunning Peak District is close by and great for exploring whether this be by foot or bike this National Park is full fantastic bike trails and scenic walks.
