This delightful holiday cottage is tucked away in a quiet backwater leading up to the church and overlooking the internationally famous racing stables of Mark Johnston. The racehorses can be seen daily, being ridden up to the ’gallops’ above the town. Carefully re-furbished throughout, it makes a really homely cottage from which to explore not only Middleham, with its fine castle and selection of pubs, restaurants and tea rooms around the historic square, but also the surrounding countryside. Leyburn with a wider selection of individual country style shops is 3 miles. The Forbidden Corner is a short drive and will appeal to children and adults alike. Shop and pub 50 yards.
