The Stables
The Stables is a stylish and modern stable conversion set in the traditional picturesque village of Thornton Le Moor just outside the delightful market town of Northallerton and is perfectly located to explore the idyllic North Yorkshire Moors and Yorkshire Dales. Recently renovated and backing onto unspoilt rural views, The Stables are accessed by a private drive and offer exceptional privacy. Contemporary modern comforts set in charming countryside provide the perfect setting for couples to have a peaceful and relaxing retreat. Guests will have use of the whole stables which offer a homely and comfortable environment with king post truss wooden beams throughout giving that country feel to the property. The south-facing, double height living space is open-plan and filled with natural light all year round. The living area extends onto a large private patio through stunning bi-fold doors - perfect for having a glass of fizz on those long summer evenings or cosy winter nights in front of the fire on the comfortable corner sofa. The Stables are warmed throughout with underfloor heating and presents a well presented, fully equipped modern kitchen with breakfast bar. The large bedroom has a plush king size bed fitted with luxury Egyptian cotton sheets guaranteeing a perfect night’s sleep and is accompanied by an en-suite bathroom which offers a walk-in shower and Heated towel rail. There is also a separate bathroom with a freestanding slipper bathtub ideal for having a soak in after a day exploring this fantastic area.
There are lovely walks around the village and cosy pubs in the neighbouring villages of Thornton Le Beans and South Otterington. In summer months guests can hear the sound of willow upon leather in the nearby village cricket field. The Stables are a short drive from Thirsk, Northallerton and Helmsley and provide the perfect gateway to explore the nearby North Yorkshire Moors and Yorkshire Dales. The beautiful Yorkshire coast is 35 minutes away, with a choice of Saltburn, the quaint fishing village of Staithes and Whitby all within driving distance.
