Set in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, this character stone-built, 18-century, detached cottage enjoys a remarkable riverside setting on the River Ribble, in the quiet hamlet of Helwith Bridge. Carefully restored, it features a Juliet balcony accessed from the living room. From here, you can enjoy the sounds of the river and the view over it to the Settle/Carlisle Railway line on the opposite bank. The bedrooms have ample storage space, and the family bathroom consists of a heated towel rail and heated mist-free mirror complimenting the shower over bath. The property is also located next door to a friendly pub with excellent food and drink. This is renowned walking country, with the Three Peaks close at hand to challenge the most ardent of walkers. Perhaps you would prefer to try your hand at fly fishing with the fishery only 5 minutes’ walk away from your doorstep. Just 4 miles away you will find the bustling market town of Settle offering a selection of individual shops, pubs and restaurants, together with a swimming pool and golf course on the edge of town. Alternatively, the Lake District is under an hours drive away. Shop 2½ miles miles, pub and restaurant 25 yards.
