Cradled in beautiful central Lancashire, The Seasonal is a modern caravan that can be found on the peaceful Beacon Fell View Holiday Park on the edge of the Forest of Bowland An Area of Outstanding Beauty. Offering spectacular views over the stunning Ribble Valley, the park is set within 30 acres of carefully landscaped parkland, in an area which is a firm favourite for outdoor enthusiasts such as cyclists, ramblers and bird watchers. A family friendly park, it offers superb on-site facilities including a seasonal indoor heated swimming pool, children’s play areas, lounge bars, a small food shop and crazy golf. Please note: the on-site facilities are closed from approx 14 Jan - 1st March each year. During this time, there will only be the caravan available.
Longridge Golf Club is less than a mile away for those preferring a full 18 holes, and nearby Beacon Fell Country Park offers 271 acres of woodland, moorland and farmland just waiting to be explored.
Quite uniquely for those familiar with Lord of the Rings, the world renowned Tolkein Trail also starts and ends in nearby Hurst Green, meaning literary enthusiasts can discover the Ribble landscape that may just have inspired J. R. R. Tolkien himself. The small town of Longridge is just half a mile down the road and home to a nice selection of supermarkets, cafés, takeaways, pubs serving food and even a quaint cinema.
For those wanting to venture further afield, both the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District National Parks can be reached in around an hour. Swapping countryside for coast, the beautiful Fylde Coast and sand dunes of Lytham St Annes can be reached in around a 30-minute drive as can the razzamatazz of Blackpool. Offering a complete change of pace, here you’ll find the famous Blackpool Pleasure Beach and the landmark Blackpool Tower which houses a circus, a glass viewing platform and the legendary Tower Ballroom.
