This lovingly restored first floor farmhouse conversion, is set in the pretty village of High Newton, yet is in easy reach of Cartmel, Lake Windermere and Coniston. Take time to relax in its bright living room, and enjoy the panoramic rural views from the large picture window. For the dark and cooler nights, warm up in front of the multi-fuel burner whilst reclining on the large comfortable sofas. The modern fitted kitchen/dining room has plenty of space, and is perfect for entertaining. There are three bedrooms, all with comfortable beds, to accommodate everyone including couples, families, or friends.
Take a short stroll to the village pub to enjoy a drink in the 17th century inn, or try something off the menu, you’ll always receive a warm welcome. It is just a short drive to the village of Cartmel, a real ‘foodies’ place with everything from the famous sticky toffee pudding to fine dining in the Michelin starred restaurant. For days out away from the fells, you have the Lakes Aquarium, Windermere Lake Cruises and Beatrix Potter’s namesake home Hill Top, all within a short drive. Beach 14 miles.
