You enter the hallway of this charming cottage off which there is a large bathroom with cubicle shower and toilet, also the home to the laundry room with washing machine and dryer. Also leading off from the hall is a games den with seating, dart board, games and storage for any bikes you may have.
Moving upstairs the first room you come to is the kitchen/dining room which has all the usual amenities you would expect including dishwasher and good-sized fridge/freezer. It’s a great space to discuss the day’s events whilst preparing a hearty meal and enjoying a glass of wine. Next there is the living room, with its comfy sofas and cushions, the ideal spot to rest achy feet whilst watching a film or your favourite show. The top floor is home to a family bathroom with roll-top bath and shower attachment and then there are 2 double bedrooms which have their own TV’s and some exposed beams which show off the cottages character.
Steeping of the door and you are in the heart of Ulverston with its cobbled streets and charming buildings. There are a few local attractions such as the Laurel & Hardy Museum or the Retro Roxy Cinema and the Coronation Hall which hosts plays, talks and comedy evenings. Ulverston is the gateway to the lakes offering easy access to places like Windermere & Bowness within a 30-minute drive. Here you are spoilt for choice as within 30 minutes you could get to Cartmel Racecourse, The Motor Museum, Escape rooms, Safari Zoo, Aquarium, Steam railway, Lake cruises, Go Ape high rope adventures, Michelin starred restaurant, L’Enclune and the list goes on. For the sporty among you, there are hundreds of excellent walks and cycle routes which take you through stunning scenery or water sports like sailing and long boarding, or climbing.
