Cobblers Cottage

Cobblers Cottage was once the focal point for locals to have their shoes repaired, these days, it is still focusses on your comfort, but more about putting your feet up and relaxing during your visit. The owners have lovingly restored this one bedroomed historical property to a very good standard, and it even has a hairdryer for guests to use. This is a great cottage to explore the surrounding areas. Roanhead beach stretches out with sand dunes and distant views, perfect for those sunset walks or letting your pooch have a good run around. South Lakes Safari Zoo is just minutes away, as is the charming market town of Ulverston. Dalton-in-Furness itself is full of ancient history, with Dalton Castle dating back to the 14th century, Victorian architecture and an array of pubs, restaurants, cafés and supermarkets. There is a leisure centre with a swimming pool just a 5-minute walk away. Beach 3 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 50 yards.
