The woodland is made up of rare specialist trees and fascinating wetlands, which you can explore for hours in peace.
The spacious accommodation is set over two floors, and has a large family living room with ample comfy seating. There is a delightful snug with a wood burner, which you can sit in front of and read a good book, or you can make use of the feature games room, which has a snooker table. There is a double bedroom and a family shower room also situated on the ground floor. A further six bedrooms and family bathroom are located on the first floor. Outside, ample parking space can be found adjacent to the property, along with a large, enclosed garden and secluded patio area. There is an annex on site which the owners live in.
Should you wish to explore further afield, the popular Lake District market town of Keswick is just a short drive away. Visit historic Carlisle, with its Roman history and castle, or head to the coast, where you will find the Solway Estuary, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with its abundance of wildlife. Beach 9 miles. Shop and pub 4½ miles, restaurant 2¾ miles. The Old School House can be be booked together with The Old School House Studio to accommodate up to 18 guests.
