Situated close to the popular seaside village of Rockcliffe, this detached, character property offers an ideal holiday base from which to explore the Solway coastline and surrounding area. Located only 5 minutes’ walk from Sandyhills beach, this is a popular location with walkers and cyclists alike; the Dalbeattie 7 stanes are close by and the National Trust Jubilee Path between Kippford and Rockcliffe is always popular. Visit Sweet Heart Abbey, Drumcoltran Tower or New Abbey Watermill. Sea fishing is available all along the coastline, and golf can also be found nearby. Dumfries, 20 miles, home to Robert Burns in his later years, is well worth visiting. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
