Seventy Four is a large, terraced property featuring all en-suite bedrooms, it’s great for a family get-together, friends’ reunion, or a group booking like a walking holiday. It is close to shops, bars and restaurants, and gives you easy access to The West Cumbrian Coast and The Lake District National Park. Overall, it offers fantastic value and a great base from which to explore West Cumbria.
Situated over three floors, this property can sleep up to 11 guests in five comfortable bedrooms. On the second floor, you’ll find a kingsize bedroom with en-suite shower and TV and a double bedroom with en-suite shower and TV. The first floor offers a great family room with a double and a single bed, en-suite shower and TV. There is also another double bedroom with en-suite shower and a final bedroom with a 4ft double, en-suite shower and TV. On the ground floor, you’ll find a living room with easy seating and a smart TV, a separate dining room and a well-equipped kitchen with two fridges and a freezer. There is also a separate utility with washing machine and dryer, and a downstairs toilet. At the rear is a small, enclosed back yard.
The property is located just off the Town Centre of Workington, a busy town with shops, supermarkets, pubs, takeaways, and your usual high street brands. You are close to plenty of major tourist attractions, and it’s well connected to explore the area. Located close to the West Cumbrian Coast you have the lively harbour of Whitehaven to the South and Maryport to the North, which has a good selection of bars, restaurants, pubs serving local ales and independent coffee shops and cafés. Further North you’ll find the seaside town of Allonby with a long stretch of unspoilt coastline and a sandy beach. To the East, you are just a short drive to the Lakes and Fells with Ennerdale and Loweswater about 20 minutes by car. Keswick is 30 minutes away and Cockermouth only 10.
