Easy access to fantastic walks, beautiful scenery and picturesque landscapes, as well as being just a few miles from the vibrant market town of Cockermouth, with an abundance of speciality shops, coffee houses, restaurants and attractions.
Why not visit Wordsworth House for a spot of culture, or maybe Jennings Brewery beneath the castle walls, offering tasting tours? Kirkgate Arts provides a cinema and theatre performances. If you love The Lakes you are within easy reach of Loweswater, with connections to Crummock Water and Buttermere, arguably one of the most picturesque areas of Cumbria for breath-taking scenery.
