It is the perfect getaway if you are looking for a large, spacious, luxurious house for your family holidays. Fully renovated in 2021, offering five spacious bedrooms; two with en-suite shower rooms and one is even on the ground floor for those guests who may require more accessible accommodation. There is also a convenient shower room on the ground floor next to this bedroom. A large family bathroom, with bath and separate walk in shower finish off the rooms on the first floor. On the ground floor there is the main living room, with real fire and large smart TV and a very large open plan kitchen/dining room at the rear of the property, with views onto the rear garden and distant fells.
The village and surrounding area are somewhere special to relax and recharge your batteries, or discover this stunning part of the UK. The pretty market town of Penrith and stunning Lake Ullswater are only a short drive away. The busier lake district town of Keswick is only 30 minutes drive. With easy access to the M6 motorway, 6 miles away, you can soon start enjoying your holiday without hours of driving. This is excellent for short weekend breaks, if you want to split the journey to/from Scotland, or a last minute escape to the country.
