Making for an ideal honeymoon destination, Pheasant Lodge is a luxury Norwegian chalet nestled in a hidden corner of Cumbria, close to the Scotland Border and just three miles from romantic Gretna Green. It is located on the owner’s farm which lives nearby, and the farm includes livestock, Swiss Blacknose sheep and poultry that you can see and enjoy during your stay.
The world-famous Blacksmiths Shop and Scottish wedding venue at Gretna Green, Skitby House and Hidden River Wedding Barn are all within a short drive of three miles to these wedding venues.
From the minute you step inside, your relaxing luxury break will begin. Boasting a sumptuous kingsize bed, dressed in feather and down luxury bedding and pillows, alongside comfy sofas, fluffy towels, a sauna room and a sunken Jacuzzi hot tub on the outdoor decking area, within your own private gardens. Bliss from start to finish. With a spacious, contemporary plan living area, combining the dining and kitchen areas with the living area to ensure no memory is missed, Pheasant Lodge is beautifully decorated and furnished throughout, with a leather and Harris Tweed sofa and chair, glass dining table and oak furniture. The beautiful tweed continued through the lodge into the master bedroom with Harrison Sprink’s bed and oak furniture, making it a very elegant room indeed.
Pheasant Lodge is situated between the Lake District and Northumberland National Park, as well as Hadrian’s Wall and only a few miles from the Scotland Border, Solway Coast in Dumfries and Galloway. It couldn’t be easier to explore both Scotland and England.
