The Courtyard
The Courtyard is a ground floor flat on the north side of town. It's about a five minute level walk to the main street.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have their own bathrooms, which is handy. One king size bed, two singles. There's a separate loo as well.
The living area is open plan. It's got high ceilings and some exposed stonework. Leads out through patio doors to your own courtyard. Having outside space and a parking spot right outside is unusual for somewhere this close to the centre. It's a proper bonus.
It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything's new this year. You've got the dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, all that. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
Salcombe itself, you know what it's like. North Sands and South Sands are the main beaches, about two miles out. The town has shops, cafes, and places to eat. It's busy in summer.
If you want to walk, the South West Coast Path is right there. For sailing or a boat trip, you just go down to the waterfront. There's golf nearby and you can fish.
If you drive, Kingsbridge is about twenty minutes inland. Dartmoor and Plymouth are within an hour. The National Trust has a few spots nearby like Overbecks.
