Sea Haven is in Inner Hope, Devon. It's right in the middle of the village, about a hundred yards from the beach. It's a terrace cottage, sleeps eight, and it's got that three-star rating. That means it's clean and has what you need, but it's not a show home.
The living room is upstairs. They call that upside-down living. It means you get a better view from the sitting room. There's a small balcony up there with a couple of chairs.
There are five bedrooms and two bathrooms. The stairs are the original cottage stairs, so they're a bit steep and narrow. Just something to be aware of.
The beach is sandy and good for swimming. The path along the cliffs, the South West Coast Path, goes right past. You can walk to Thurlestone one way or towards Salcombe the other. Thurlestone golf course is about two miles away if you play.
In the village there's a shop about fifty yards away and a couple of pubs. They do food. For a bigger shop, Kingsbridge is a short drive. Salcombe is four miles. It's busy in summer but good for sailing and has nice shops.
You can bring one dog. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, and Wi-Fi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking is on-site.
If you're planning days out, the Dartmoor National Park is less than an hour's drive, and the National Trust looks after a lot of the coast nearby.
