Garden Apartment

This is the Garden Apartment, a ground floor flat in Hallsands. It's on a large shared estate called Prospect House. The estate is down a private lane, with gates.

The apartment sleeps four. Two bedrooms, and each has its own bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and well looked after. It's open plan inside, which feels spacious.

You get your own private patio garden at the back. It's a decent size. The setting is rural and quiet.

The estate grounds are shared, and you're free to walk around them. There's a shared outdoor swimming pool and a tennis court there for guests to use. You can see the sea from parts of the garden.

Hallsands itself is a small coastal spot. The old village is mostly gone, washed away. There's a viewing point and it's good for fishing. For a beach, Beesands is about a twenty minute walk along the coast path, or a very short drive. There's a pub there.

Within a thirty minute drive you've got Kingsbridge, Salcombe, and Dartmouth. The South West Coast Path runs right past. For a boat trip, you can get the ferry from East Portlemouth to Salcombe. Dartmouth Castle is run by English Heritage.

Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi included. Bedding and towels are provided. There's a cot and a highchair if needed. Parking is on site. It's listed as romantic and family friendly. Sorry, no pets.
