The Bolt Hole

This 18th-century former fisherman’s cottage is beautifully presented retaining its original charm combining Cornish tradition with modern-day living. Providing excellent self-catering holiday accommodation, successfully combining comfortable living space with a private garden and parking. It also has beautiful views across the valley.
Located on a quiet terrace with a small lane serving just a few houses, the cottage boasts a compact open-plan living and dining area, that leads to a fully fitted kitchen to the rear. Upstairs there is a double bedroom with a kingsize and en-suite bathroom. It truly is the perfect place to unwind, and is a great base for exploring everything that Cornwall has to offer.
Roseland is one of the most picturesque unspoiled parts of the British Isles. Beaches, cliffs, rivers and countryside alongside pretty villages all make the Roseland the perfect holiday setting. You can walk the cliffs or riverbanks, swim off the beaches, browse the shops, take your hand at water sports including sailing, windsurfing, water-skiing, diving and snorkelling, or simply enjoy a spot of fishing and bird watching.
Tregony is situated in a delightful country area between Truro and St Austell. The village was once an important trading centre of its time, and the area has a long history reaching back to pre-Norman conquest times. Relax and enjoy the village tranquillity or experience all Roseland has to offer. You can always expect a warm welcome at the local pub which has a reputation for fine food in a friendly atmosphere.
The woods and riverside between Tregony and Ruan Lanihorne are fantastic for exploring with the nearby Ruan River also being popular with ornithologists. Egrets can be found nesting on the nearby upper reaches of the River Fal.
Cornwall offers a range of accessible attractions. The Eden Project and the Minack Theatre are world-famous, and in addition there is the National Maritime Museum in Falmouth, the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Tate Gallery in St Ives. Alongside the rural and coastal walks, excellent beaches and sailing waters, this magnificent location really caters to all tastes.
